We are looking for a passionate and creative Lifestyle Officer to join our team at Caves Beach on a part-time basis (Thursday and Friday).

You’ll plan and deliver engaging lifestyle, leisure and recreational programs that reflect each resident’s interests, preferences, abilities and individual goals.

Working closely with residents, families and the broader interdisciplinary team, you’ll create opportunities that promote choice, independence, social connection, wellbeing and purposeful living.

As a Lifestyle Officer, you will:

• Develop and deliver person-centred lifestyle programs that promote residents’ independence, choice, wellbeing and quality of life
• Complete resident assessments and maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Develop individualised leisure and lifestyle programs that respond to residents’ social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical and cognitive needs, interests and abilities
• Facilitate a variety of one-to-one activities, group programs, recreational activities and special events
• Support residents to maintain existing friendships, develop new connections and participate in community activities
• Plan and facilitate outings and bus trips, ensuring appropriate preparation, documentation and safety requirements are met
• Regularly monitor and evaluate programs to ensure they remain relevant, engaging and responsive to residents’ needs
• Seek feedback from residents and incorporate their ideas and preferences into program planning and continuous improvement
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engagement and purposeful living opportunities
• Support the Lifestyle and Leisure team to meet relevant quality, compliance and accreditation requirements
• Help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where residents feel heard, valued and connected
