Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year (depending on experience) + super + company vehicle

About the role

Join EC Controls, one of Australia's largest Schneider BMS EcoXpert partners, delivering competitive, high-performance Building Management System solutions across multi-vendor environments. We have exciting opportunities for experienced BMS Service Technicians and a motivated BMS Service Apprentice to join our Brisbane service team. Working across Brisbane, with occasional travel throughout QLD, you'll support a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their Building Management Systems continue to operate efficiently and reliably. Experienced technicians will manage their own portfolio of clients, carrying out fault finding, repairs, preventative maintenance, system optimisation and technical support while building strong relationships with customers. Our BMS Service Apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians, receiving hands-on training, mentoring and exposure to Schneider EcoStruxure, Honeywell and Niagara-based systems to develop into a highly skilled BMS professional.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service across your client portfolio.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Building Management Systems.

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency.

• Provide technical support and advice to clients.

• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.

• Maintain a professional, safe and customer-focused approach on every site.

About you

To be considered, you must hold a trade qualification or a bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical or a related discipline, or be looking to commence your career as a BMS Service Apprentice.

For Experienced Technicians:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience servicing Building Management Systems.

• Experience with Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure or Honeywell systems is highly regarded.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.

• Solid mechanical and technical aptitude.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

For BMS Service Apprentice Applicants:

• A genuine interest in Building Management Systems and a willingness to learn.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Mechanical and technical aptitude.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain one).
