FIFO Electrical Site Supervisor

About the role

Perth Multi Electrics is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join one of our project teams, based in either Dongara or the Pilbara.

This is a casual position working a 2/1 FIFO roster, with the potential for ongoing work and the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

You will be responsible for supervising site electrical activities, leading our workforce and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards and the construction program.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical activities

• Lead electricians, apprentices and subcontractors on site

• Plan labour, materials, equipment and upcoming works

• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox meetings and site inspections

• Monitor project schedules, productivity and workmanship

• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, electrical standards and client requirements

• Review electrical drawings, specifications and construction documentation

• Coordinate with project managers, clients and other site contractors

• Complete daily reports, timesheets, progress updates and site documentation

• Manage quality assurance documentation, inspections and test records

• Identify and resolve technical, safety and construction issues

• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and project delivery

What we’re looking for

• Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Demonstrated experience supervising commercial, industrial or mining electrical projects

• Commercial electrical and camp infrastructure installation experience

• Strong leadership and workforce-management skills

• Rio Tinto inductions and site experience – highly regarded

• S26 training– REQUIRED

• Current LVR/CPR, First Aid and Working at Heights certificates

• Construction White Card

• Valid Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

• Strong knowledge of Rio Tinto electrical standards and AS/NZS 3000

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation

• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills

• Competence using computers, email and Microsoft Office

• A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
