Private Chef (Part-Time) | Cronulla Based

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Private Chef to join a busy and welcoming family of six based in Burraneer. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy structured part-time hours while continuing to showcase your creativity, culinary expertise and attention to presentation in a private home setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating refined, healthy and beautifully presented meals for family dinners and children's lunches, while maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked kitchen. You will have the autonomy to design seasonal, balanced menus that align with the family's health-focused lifestyle.

In addition, you will prepare weekly office catering for a team based in the Sutherland Shire.

About the Role

Burraneer (Family Home)

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

• 2:00pm to approximately 7:30pm

• Finish time is once the family has eaten and the kitchen has been fully cleaned and organised

Sutherland Shire (Office Location)

• Friday mornings (half-day shift)

• Flexible start time

• Catering required for:

o    Approximately 80 staff once per month (serving by 12:30pm)

o    Approximately 15 to 30 staff on all other Fridays (ready by 11:45am)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and serve healthy, lean, gourmet-style dinners for the family

• Prepare nutritious and appealing lunches for the children to enjoy throughout the week

• Design seasonal menus that balance nutrition, variety and presentation

• Complete food shopping on Mondays and Thursdays

• Prepare and deliver office catering on Fridays as required

• Maintain a clean, stocked and highly organised kitchen environment

• Ensure all meals are presented to an exceptional standard and reflect the family's preferences and dietary goals

• Manage kitchen supplies, stock rotation and ingredient sourcing

About You

You are an experienced chef who takes pride in creating healthy, flavourful and visually impressive meals. You thrive in a private environment, enjoy building trusted relationships, and understand the importance of discretion and professionalism.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Private Chef or in a similar culinary level of role

• Strong culinary skills with a focus on healthy, lean cuisine delivered in a refined, gourmet or fine-dining style

• Experience catering for larger groups (highly regarded)

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Strong attention to detail and presentation

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and self-directed approach to menu planning and kitchen management

• A high level of discretion and the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
