Auto Centre Townsville is looking for a dynamic, multi-skilled Service & Parts Manager to lead our service and parts departments. In this dual role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a dedicated team of technicians and advisors, and drive customer satisfaction for our KGM and Peugeot brands.

What We Are Looking For

·         Technical Qualification: A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) is highly desirable.

·         Industry Experience: Proven background in automotive service or parts management.

·         Dual Capabilities: Strong understanding of both workshop mechanics and inventory control.

·         Financial Performance: Meet and exceed monthly revenue, efficiency, and inventory targets.

·         Communication Skills: Excellent leadership abilities to motivate a team and resolve customer queries.

·         Customer Excellence: Ensure a Premium, seamless experience for every guest.

·         Compliance: Maintain manufacturer standards for warranty claims and parts ordering.

·         Systems Literacy: Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and manufacturer portals.

·         Team Management: Mentor, schedule, and support technicians and service/parts advisors.

·         Department Leadership: Manage daily workflow across both service workshop and parts inventory.

Light Vehicle Technician

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 is looking for a qualified 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 or a 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 to join our growing workshop team!

• Is a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice

• Has strong diagnostic skills

• Holds a current unrestricted manual driver's licence

• Is reliable, hardworking and motivated

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Takes pride in maintaining a safe and organised workshop
