As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our Alterations team on a casual basis.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in exceptional workmanship and enjoys working within a warm close knit team in a professional boutique environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Completing high-quality bridal alterations and garment finishing

• Operating an industrial sewing machine confidently

• Performing precise hand sewing and delicate finishing work

• Managing garment quality control to ensure every gown meets our standards

• Handling bridal gowns and delicate fabrics with exceptional care

• Working closely with the boutique team to meet fitting and completion deadlines

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous professional sewing or garment alteration experience

• Experience using an industrial sewing machine

• Strong hand-sewing skills

• An excellent eye for detail and garment quality

• A careful, patient and reliable approach

• A willingness to learn our bridal alteration techniques and processes

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Availability for up to three days per week

Experience with bridal gowns, formal wear or delicate fabrics is highly regarded.
