Production Manager/Estimator

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our team in Pinkenba, you’ll be responsible for managing staff and workflow on the floor, ensuring timeframes are met and maintaining a high level of customer service. Additionally, the role involves the completion of accurate and comprehensive vehicle quotations in accordance with Work Provider requirements. The role requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with all members of the team in order to meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule, forecast and allocate work to team members
• Ensuring quality repair process meeting productivity targets and customer expectations
• Coach and develop team to improve capability productivity
• Accurate and timely quotation of damaged vehicles
• Managing ordering and receiving of parts to ensure cost effectiveness
• Conduct QA inspections to ensure quality repair meets customer expectations

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience within a similar role/s in the automotive industry
• Attention to detail, with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a busy workshop and achieve service outcomes
• Strong computer system skills and previous experience in ibody, Parts Check or Audanet (ideal)
• Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety practices.
• Appropriate Australian Working Rights.
