About the Opportunity

Keecore Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Support Officer for an initial 6-month contract with one of our established clients on Sydney's Lower North Shore.

We are looking for a capable IT generalist with a positive attitude, strong team spirit and a willingness to help across the wider technology environment.

This is not a narrowly defined service desk position. You will work alongside an internal IT team, assisting users, troubleshooting technical problems and supporting day-to-day infrastructure and technology operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing L1/L2 technical support to users

• Troubleshooting Windows, hardware, software and connectivity issues

• Supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals and business applications

• Assisting with Microsoft 365 and general Microsoft technology issues

• Supporting user accounts, access and permissions

• Deploying and configuring end-user equipment

• Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution

• Assisting the wider IT team with infrastructure and operational activities

• Supporting upgrades, technology changes and project activities

• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and support records

• Working collaboratively and assisting across the team when required

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, service desk or infrastructure support

• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills

• Experience supporting users in a business environment

• A good understanding of Microsoft 365 and common Microsoft technologies

• General knowledge of networking, endpoints, user accounts and IT infrastructure

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A practical and positive approach to your work

• A genuine team mentality and willingness to help others

• Australian working rights

Exposure to technologies such as Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking or infrastructure administration will be highly regarded.

This position is onsite five days per week on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
