Assistant New Vehicle Sales Manager

Midland City GWM is seeking an experienced, motivated and results-driven Assistant New Vehicle Sales Manager to join our high-performing team.

Working closely with the New Vehicle Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting and developing the sales team, and delivering an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

As the Assistant New Vehicle Sales Manager, you will:

• Support the New Vehicle Sales Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the GWM New Vehicle Sales Department
• Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance expectations
• Drive a strong sales culture focused on customer experience, accountability and results
• Assist sales consultants in managing opportunities, progressing deals and successfully closing sales
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers while delivering an exceptional buying experience
• Support stock management, vehicle deliveries and day-to-day sales administration
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results, productivity and profitability
• Assist with the training, coaching and development of sales consultants
• Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally and work towards positive resolutions
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, presentation and customer satisfaction across the department

You are a motivated automotive sales professional with a strong track record of achieving results and a genuine desire to develop your leadership career.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Proven success within an automotive dealership sales environment
• Previous leadership experience, or a strong ambition and capability to step into a leadership role
• A passion for the automotive industry and delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• The ability to motivate, coach and positively influence others
• A results-driven and commercially minded approach, with a strong focus on achieving targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation, administration and attention to detail
• A professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude
• The confidence and drive to take ownership, solve problems and make things happen
• Availability to work late nights on Wednesdays and a half-day on Saturdays

• Current WA Driver's Licence
• Current Vehicle Salesperson's Licence or Yard Manager's Licence
• Demonstrated success in an automotive dealership sales environment
