LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR

MTM has been involved in automotive manufacturing since 1965 and whilst local car manufacturers have left Australian shores, we are still flying the flag internationally on major vehicle programs globally.

We are an internationally recognised company leading design, manufacturing and exporting of complex value-added automotive components (specifically doorchecks) for the international market.

We are seeking an experienced logistics co-ordinator with the ability to review data rather than just accept the information that is presented. We are moving toward implementing a new ERP system, so we require a level of awareness or familiarity with ERP software systems.

Our candidate will have good communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, have a degree or a background working in logistics.

Applicants should have hands on experience in a similar field and will have a primary focus in the following areas:

Job Responsibilities include

·         Scheduling suppliers and deliveries of purchased parts and raw materials.

·         Production planning and

·         External shipping and stockholding.

Required Skills and Experience

·         3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics

·         Good analytical, attention to detail and planning skills

·         Proficient in Excel

·         An ability to take the initiative

·         Ability to work independently, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills

·         Manufacturing or import/distribution experience highly regarded
