An exciting opportunity exists for a medical receptionist to join our team at Mudgeeraba Hand Clinic!

Our private practice located in Mudgeeraba, comprising of hand surgeons and hand therapists, provides operative and non-operative treatments for all hand injuries/conditions. Our practice has a focus on providing the highest standard of customer service and is driven to giving patients the best possible outcomes. 

You will have the opportunity to build on your experience in a similar role, having previously worked as a receptionist or in an administrative role within the medical industry, and will enjoy working in a friendly environment with a focus on teamwork and good communication. 

Key responsibilities include:

• General reception duties including meet and greet, attending to incoming phone calls and emails, and scheduling of appointments.

• Processing patient accounts including private health funds, Medicare, DVA and WorkCover.

• General administrative duties including data entry, scanning and actioning incoming referrals and correspondence.

• General administrative support as required.

Experience and skills required:

• High standard of computer literacy skills.

• Previous experience working in a medical practice with proficiency using practice management software. 

• Attention to detail. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
