Medical Receptionist

SA Hand Therapy is a leading provider of hand and upper limb therapy in South Australia. We offer excellence in all aspects of hand and upper limb care including placing high importance on the positive experience of a client from the moment they call or enter one of our clinics until their discharge. We see a diverse range of clients from different ages and backgrounds and have real passion for what we do.

We are currently seeking to fill a part time position for the right candidate, to join our dynamic admin team. This role would suit a person who has passion to help people, a strong work ethic and want to be part of a very caring team. The successful candidate will have a desire for outstanding customer service, adept communication skills and be detail orientated. We are seeking coverage of 3 days per week (8.15am - 5.15pm) worked with the flexibility to cover planned and unplanned leave as required. These hours will be worked across our clinics at Wakefield Street and our head office at Daw Park.

Duties will include:

· Taking phone calls

· Meeting and greeting clients.

· Diary management via Nookal

· Invoicing clients

· Processing payments via HICAPS/EFTPOS

· Client record management

· Typing/scanning of medical letters and reports

· General administration

· Provide support as necessary to the Company Directors and Practice Manager

What you will need:

· Proven high customer service skills.

· Understand the importance of client and staff confidentiality.

· Have integrity and reliability.

· A commitment to our team ethos – ‘excellence in hand and upper limb care’ and the positive experience for clients

· The ability to prioritise tasks.

· Previous experience working in a medical reception role, preferably in a specialist setting.
