Client Liaison

About the role

JDR Homes is seeking a proactive and client focused Client Liaison to join our Operations team, based at our Ulverstone office. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients throughout their building journey from pre-construction through to handover and beyond, ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident along the way. A genuine interest in the construction industry will help you thrive in this role, and we are open to discussing full time or part time arrangements for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as the dedicated point of contact for clients through the pre-construction process, and a key support contact through the construction phase

• Conducting regular check-ins and building genuine rapport with clients to manage expectations and strengthen relationships

• Guiding clients through the selections process for finishes, fixtures and fittings within agreed timeframes

• Coordinating with suppliers, the design team, estimators, and site staff to confirm selections and manage variations

• Preparing variation requests and clearly explaining cost and programme impacts before client sign-off

• Following up with clients post-handover to confirm satisfaction and manage any warranty or defect claims

• Logging and managing client complaints, coordinating defect rectification works, and keeping clients updated through to resolution

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date client records and correspondence in our CRM system

What we're looking for

• Experience in a client facing or customer service role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with genuine empathy and patience

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and projects at once

• A proactive, solutions focused approach to managing client concerns and resolving issues

• Confidence liaising with a range of internal teams and external suppliers

• Sound computer literacy

• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering an outstanding client experience
