Clinical Assistant - Foot & Ankle Surgical Practice

We are seeking a motivated and caring clinical assistant to join our specialist foot and ankle surgery practice in Hampton.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon in a highly personalised private practice. The role would suit an experienced nurse, podiatrist, allied health assistant, or other health professional with a strong interest in surgical care, wound management, and patient support.

Entry level candidates with any healthcare background and a strong interest in surgical care are welcome to apply.

About Us

Our practice focuses exclusively on foot and ankle surgery, providing comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient experiences and maintaining the highest clinical standards. You will work directly with the surgeon and practice manager as part of a small, supportive team.

The Role

The successful applicant will provide broad clinical assistance, including:

• Post-operative wound care and dressing changes

• Assistance with patient reviews and follow-up care

• Sterilisation and infection control processes

• Clinical documentation

• Preparation of treatment rooms and equipment

• Stock control and ordering

• Patient education and support

• General clinical assistance throughout consulting sessions

• Administration and reception assistance

The role may be tailored to suit the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
