About the role

Circa 900 is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo to join our team. We specialise in authentic Italian-style, wood-fired pizza and are looking for someone who can consistently produce high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and stretch pizza dough by hand

• Top and cook pizzas consistently to our standards

• Operate and manage a wood-fired pizza oven

• Prepare ingredients and complete daily kitchen prep

• Maintain quality, presentation and portion control

• Keep the pizza section clean, organised and food-safe

• Work efficiently during busy service periods

• Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation

• Work closely with chefs and front-of-house staff

About you

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo preferred

• Experience with wood-fired or high-temperature pizza ovens highly regarded

• Confident stretching dough by hand

• Strong understanding of pizza preparation and cooking

• Ability to work quickly under pressure

• Good communication and teamwork

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
