Buildcorp’s New Build team delivers complex, high-quality construction projects that demand innovation, collaboration, and precision. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team who can bring accuracy, commercial insight and technical capability to some of the most challenging and rewarding projects.

You’ll work closely with a strong network of subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders and be supported by an industry leading team of construction industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial tender assessments, evaluating all project aspects, risks and opportunities.
• Produce accurate trade break-ups and secure strong market coverage through your subcontractor relationships.
• Conduct regular meetings with key subcontractors to obtain competitive, accurate pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost plans for internal review.
• Lead the preparation of handover packages and budgets for successful tenders.
• Collaborate with internal bid teams on program, budget inputs, value engineering and alternate solutions.
• Support and coach estimators, contributing to team capability and performance.

About you

• Demonstrated experience in estimating or cost planning on New Build projects with proven success (Civil or Infrastructure backgrounds only are unfortunately not areas with sufficient crossover).
• Strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in relevant trades.
• Ability to evaluate risk and opportunity in pricing assessments.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft or CostX.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
• A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar.
