We are seeking a talented Consultant to join our Operations & Transformation team based in Canberra. This is a permanent role that will support you in growing your career, working across a number of exciting client projects and an opportunity to be part of a market-leading team.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will engage directly with high-profile public-sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority operational related problems. You will also:

Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive value and performance Work for some of the most inspiring public sector programs and organisations Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, and experience from our global network Undertake extensive operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job) A career in Deloitte means you will be working alongside top management consulting talent solving the toughest problems for Australia’s largest organisations.

About The Team

Our team specialises in services that drive operational excellence in government organisations. We help our clients solve their largest most complex challenges that range from responding to new regulatory requirements through to implementing new technology advances.

This is an exciting career opportunity for a career driven consultant to join our Operations & Transformation team within our Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions where we add value and immerse yourself in services that drive operational excellence in government organisations. In this role you’ll engage directly with high-profile public-sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority operational related problems in a colloborative environment.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

Consulting or problem-solving experience Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches / frameworks Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients Strong and adaptable facilitation and communications skills Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents etc.) and synthesising into digestible outputs (e.g. reports) Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas Minimum AGSVA baseline clearance
