• 2/1 FIFO roster - Day & Night Shift

The Role

As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you will:

• Service, maintain, diagnose and repair heavy diesel vehicles
• Perform repairs and maintenance on tankers, trailers and trucks
• Install and maintain pumps, PTOs and hydraulic systems
• Conduct fault finding and preventative maintenance activities
• Work alongside experienced fabricators and welders on custom projects

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
• Experience working on heavy vehicles, road transport equipment and trailers
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety

Desirable Experience

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge
• Welding or fabrication experience
