Field Sales Representative VIC (Melbourne CBD, Western Suburbs and Geelong area)

What about the Role:

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Field Sales Representative to service the Hardware retail channel in the Melbourne CBD, Western Suburbs and Geelong area. We are searching for a self-motivated and experienced salesperson to meet our customer’s needs. The successful person will join our VIC sales team and report directly to the State Field Sales Manager. This role will be responsible for looking after our leading hardware chains along with other retailers.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate both a successful track record within retail sales and high level of merchandising standards. The key responsibilities in the role include but not limited to:

• Maintaining regular call cycles

• Conducting electronic vendor stock integrity audits

• Strong merchandising of all our Brands

• Delivering instore product training

• Nurturing relationships to achieve excellent instore execution

• Exceed sales targets with the utilisation of professional selling and retail merchandising skills

What about Me:

• Solid sales experience in retail hardware, FMCG or consumer durable sales will be highly valued but not essential

• Exceptional relationship building paired with effective communication skills to engage with a variety of people at all levels

• Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with conflicting priorities

• Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals

• Highly organised, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail

• A current full driver's license is required as regular travel is expected in this role

• A strong desire to learn is a Must!
