Service Car washer/Courtesy driver

About the role

Cricks Tweed is seeking a Service Car Washer/Courtesy Driver to join our team on a full-time basis in Tweed Heads South, NSW. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of vehicle presentation and customer service that define our dealership. You will play a key part in ensuring that every vehicle leaving our service department is immaculate, whilst also providing courteous transport solutions to our valued customers. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills across vehicle care and customer interaction whilst contributing directly to customer satisfaction and dealership reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, clean and detail service vehicles to maintain high presentation standards

• Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any damage or mechanical issues

• Operate and maintain car wash equipment and cleaning materials safely and efficiently

• Provide courtesy driving services to customers, ensuring safe and professional transportation

• Maintain a clean and organised service bay and vehicle holding areas

• Assist with vehicle movement and positioning within the service department

• Follow all health and safety procedures and workplace policies

• Communicate effectively with service team members and customers

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is required

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Experience in vehicle washing, detailing or automotive service environments (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the day

• Reliability and punctuality

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Knowledge of vehicle care products and safe handling of cleaning materials (preferred)
