📍 Bathurst, NSW | Day Shift

CHEP Australia is looking for a Manual Wash Operator to join our Bathurst Service Centre, reporting to the Dayshift Supervisor.

This is a hands‑on, flexible role where the main task is manual pallet washing, whilst being self-sufficient through limited forklift operation. The secondary task will be pallet repair with regular exposure depending on rosters.

If you hold a forklift licence but are new to operating, this role is a great foot‑in‑the‑door to gain experience while supporting other operational areas.

What you’ll be doing

• Manually washing wooden and plastic pallets

• Inspecting pallets for cleanliness and quality

• Pallet repair when required

• Operating a forklift when authorised

• Working safely in a busy service centre environment

What we’re looking for

• Forklift licence essential (experience not required)

• Good safety awareness and a strong work ethic

• Willingness to be flexible and help where needed

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
