About the Role

George’s Mediterranean, part of Eviva Group, is looking for a driven Chef de Partie who takes pride in their craft and ownership of their section.

Working on Sydney’s waterfront at King Street Wharf, you’ll cook with quality produce, fresh seafood, char-grilled meats and handcrafted meze at the heart of our Greek Mediterranean menu.

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef in a kitchen built on consistency, discipline and confident cooking, with genuine opportunity to grow within Eviva Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Own your section, delivering consistent quality and presentation every service

• Prepare and cook Greek and Mediterranean dishes to our standards

• Treat quality produce with care and respect

• Maintain food safety, hygiene, WHS and stock standards

• Communicate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team

• Support junior chefs and contribute to a strong kitchen culture

• Work with front-of-house to deliver a seamless guest experience

About You

• Culinary qualification or equivalent

• 3–5 years’ kitchen experience, including 2+ years as a Chef de Partie

• Strong Greek and Mediterranean cooking knowledge and technique

• Confident knife skills and strong kitchen fundamentals

• Calm, precise and composed under pressure

• Reliable, professional and team-focused

• Ambitious to develop your craft and career
