Bankside Plumbing and Gas is looking for a qualified and registered Maintenance Plumber to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and professional, and enjoys dealing with customers.

The Role

You’ll be working across residential and commercial properties throughout Rosebud and the surrounding Mornington Peninsula, carrying out a range of plumbing maintenance, repairs and servicing.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Maintenance plumbing and general plumbing repairs

• Leak detection, diagnosing and repairing leaks

• Clearing and repairing blocked drains

• Roof leak repairs

• Hot water repairs and replacements

• Locating and repairing gas leaks

• Gas servicing

• Renovation plumbing

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Attending emergency plumbing jobs when required

• Communicating with customers and providing professional advice

• Completing job notes and maintaining accurate records

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety and presentation

What We’re Looking For

• Current Victorian plumbing registration/licence

• Minimum 2 years’ maintenance plumbing experience post-apprenticeship

• Strong plumbing knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Professional presentation and pride in your workmanship

• Current driver’s licence

• Able to work across various residential and commercial job sites

• Gas fitting and/or hot water experience is an advantage

• Experience with high-pressure water jetting and CCTV/locator equipment is an advantage

• Experience with drain cleaning equipment and inspection cameras is an advantage
