About the role:

• Leasing disputes, predominantly acting for tenants, with some landlord-side matters.
• Franchising disputes, acting for franchisors.
• Contract disputes and broader commercial claims.
• Debt recovery matters, from early demands through to resolution.
• Strategic advice on risk, resolution and commercial outcomes.
• Drafting correspondence, court documents, briefs and settlement materials.
• Day-to-day carriage of files and direct client contact.

The ideal candidate:

• Ideally 5+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation.
• Experience in leasing, franchising, contract disputes and/or debt recovery.
• Confident taking carriage of files, managing clients and working to competing deadlines.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Practical, commercial and solutions-focused in your approach.
• Down-to-earth, personable and comfortable working in a boutique firm environment.
