Spearsage is supporting a major international logistics organisation with a critical workforce transformation project in Australia.
As part of a large-scale transition involving more than 400 employees, we are looking for an experienced UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions Consultant who can combine hands-on system configuration with practical project coordination.
This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can work directly in the system, manage key interfaces with payroll and vendors, and help drive the implementation through to go-live.
The RoleYou will play a key role in finalising the implementation and configuration of UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions for the Australian business.
Your responsibilities will include:Configure UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions across Time & Attendance functionalityConfigure pay rules, work rules, accruals, attendance rules and related workforce settingsTranslate Australian working-time and employment requirements into practical system configurationSupport configuration relating to awards, enterprise agreements, overtime, penalties, breaks, shifts and other workforce rules where applicableCoordinate interfaces and data flows between UKG and the external payroll providerSupport testing, defect resolution, validation and go-live readinessWork closely with HR, payroll, operations, Group HRIS and external vendorsManage your workstream independently against a fixed implementation deadlineIdentify configuration gaps, risks and dependencies and drive them through to resolutionSupport the transition and onboarding of a significant permanent workforce populationProvide practical implementation support without taking ownership away from the internal project team
About YouTo be successful, you will ideally bring:
Must-haveHands-on experience configuring UKG Pro WFM, UKG Dimensions or Kronos/UKG workforce management platformsPractical experience configuring pay rules, work rules, accruals, attendance and Time & Attendance functionalityAt least one full UKG implementation or go-live experienceStrong understanding of Australian working-time, payroll-related and employment compliance requirementsExperience working with payroll integrations and external payroll providersAbility to work independently and solve implementation issues hands-on
Strongly preferredExperience working with Australian Modern Awards and/or Enterprise AgreementsPrevious experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or another complex shift-based environmentExperience coordinating functional workstreams or implementation activities to a fixed deadlineStrong stakeholder management across HR, payroll, operations, IT and vendors
Nice to haveBroader UKG Pro Payroll or HCM experienceExperience supporting large employee migrations or workforce transitions
What This Role Is NotThis is not a pure Project Manager position.It is also not a BAU payroll processing role.
We are looking for someone who can personally configure UKG, work through technical and functional issues, coordinate the relevant stakeholders, and help get the solution live.
