Remedial Massage Therapist – Massage Land Tamworth

About the role

Massage Land is a busy and supportive health and wellness clinic in Tamworth, looking for qualified therapists to join our team. Our clinic works with a wide range of clients, including active individuals, athletes, and people recovering from pain and injury. You will work within a multidisciplinary health team alongside our physiotherapist, nutritionist, naturopath, and acupuncturist, providing valuable opportunities to broaden your knowledge of rehabilitation, movement, nutrition, preventative health, and overall wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy treatments to a diverse client base

• Assess clients, ask the right questions, and provide appropriate treatments

• Develop personalised treatment plans

• Support injury prevention and rehabilitation

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team

About you

• Myotherapy, Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage, or Beauty Therapy qualification

• Experience in one or more of the following: Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Thai Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Sports Strapping and Taping, Stretch Therapy and Mobility Work

• Excellent understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Friendly and professional attitude

• Valid Australian work rights

• Strong English communication skills

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance (current or able to be obtained before commencement)

• Current professional registration with AAMT, ANTA, or another recognised massage therapy association
