Senior Applications Analyst

Our Business Applications team supports, maintains and continually improves the business systems that underpin many of GS1 Australia’s everyday operations. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, the team ensures our Dynamics 365 ecosystem and related business applications remain reliable, secure and aligned to business needs.

As the Senior Applications Analyst, you will lead the operational support and continuous improvement of GS1 Australia’s Dynamics 365 ecosystem and related business applications. You will be responsible for ensuring our business-critical applications remain stable, secure and fit for purpose, while providing technical leadership, mentoring Applications Analysts and ensuring the effective operational support of our business applications.

Working collaboratively across the Business Technology team and the wider organisation, you will oversee application issues, service requests and operational changes, supporting the implementation of approved application enhancements.

Due to the nature of the role, occasional after-hours support may be required.

Examples of key tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the day-to-day operational support, maintenance and optimisation of the Dynamics 365 ecosystem and related business applications.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex application issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, prioritise requests and identify opportunities to improve business processes and system performance.
• Coordinate incidents, service requests, application changes and releases with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support the stability, security and performance of production environments, ensuring changes are implemented in line with operational standards and governance.
• Mentor and support Applications Analysts, promoting knowledge sharing, consistent support practices and continuous improvement across the team.

• Strong knowledge Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Finances & Operations, including integrated business applications and related technologies.
• Experience supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions in a business environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver practical, solutions focused outcomes.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical team members and supporting team capability development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality service.
