Head of Consolidation and Accounting Operations Analysis

As Head of Consolidation and Accounting Operations Analysis you will be responsible for delivery of all Global Consolidations of CSL Behring, CSL Vifor, CSL Seqirus, and the combined result.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Accounting Operations, you will be accountable for analysis and commentary of the consolidated Cash Flow from Operations and Balance sheet, which requires coordination across various Finance teams.You will also drive the financial planning process from a Global Accounting Operations perspective, including the collaboration and influencing of various high ranking key stakeholders across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive strategic imperatives that enable process improvement and result in greater accuracy and faster turnaround of financial results – especially as it relates to the financial planning process

• Oversight of consolidation activities performed by various teams related to planning, budgeting, and statutory reporting to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely accounting and reporting

• Lead and drive projects or continuous improvement activities, including harmonisation of processes and effective integration of Finance across CSL

• Support audits and other assurance activities, including ensuring remediation actions are addressed promptly

• Drive analysis and reporting related to the statement of cash flow and balance sheet across all business units

• Liaise with senior Finance Stakeholders as required for any escalated issues and to proactively lead change

• Lead, motivate and develop employees within the team including long-term talent development and succession planning

• Manage performance with a focus on meeting service agreements and continuously enhancing Finance staff, while role modelling CSL Values

Your Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree in related field preferred

• Professional certification (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CMA) required

• 10+ years’ experience in accounting and finance

• Strong consolidation and reporting skills

• Experience in global roles within scientific/pharmaceutical industry highly desirable

• Management experience, lead, develop and motivate others

• Sounds judgment with the ability to set direction and drive outcomes

• Strong analytical thinking

• Experience executing globally integrated processes

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally within a site
