About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights to support the new investments and successful delivery of multiple investment portfolios across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibilities are to the investment and operations team, with a focus on investment due diligence and post-investment analysis across all areas of a business, including commercial analysis of sales, procurement, consumer data, and any other required fields.

• Prepare regular project financial reports, feasibility studies, and ROI assessments for management and stakeholders.

• Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance and opportunities.

• Assist with annual valuations of each asset as required.

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specific to different investment portfolios.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investment insights with business goals.

• Research and follow trends in capital and agricultural/FMCG markets and provide post-investment insights to investment and operations team; and

• You will be working with senior management and other stakeholders to understand the commercial objectives and overall goals of the business, in order to target your analysis more effectively. 

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CFA preferred);

• Candidate ideally has 2-5 years working in financial analytics, with recent experience in the FMCG, financial service and agriculture sector;

• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills;

• Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and good business acumen and a commercial mindset. 

• Understanding of valuation theory and principles and capital structures, including financial modelling experience (three-way financial models); 

• Strong communication and relationship-management soft skills, relating to both internal and external parties, are preferred.
