Senior Educator

Join SDN Randwick as a Diploma qualified Senior Educator in a permanent part-time role working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 24 hours per week, in our 2-3 years toddler room. About The Role

As Senior Educator at SDN Randwick, you will play a key role in our 2–3 years toddler room, creating a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, connected and curious. Working closely with the Room Leader, educators and families, you will help deliver meaningful play-based programs that support each child’s learning, wellbeing and development.

• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families, supporting strong partnerships and a genuine sense of belonging
• Plan, deliver and reflect on play-based learning experiences that are responsive to children’s interests, strengths and developmental needs
• Create safe, stimulating and inviting indoor and outdoor learning spaces that encourage exploration, independence and confidence
• Use observations, documentation and reflective practice to support high-quality learning outcomes aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Support children’s daily routines, care needs and wellbeing with patience, consistency and respect
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture by modelling professionalism, initiative and strong communication
• Support educators in day-to-day practice, helping create an inclusive and high-performing team environment
• Maintain child-safe practices and support compliance with service policies, procedures and early childhood regulations

About You

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
• Hold a current Working with Children Check, First Aid qualification and approved Child Protection training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have relevant experience in a similar role in early Childhood education and care
