Controlled Waste Truck Driver - Wiluna Goldfields (2:2 Roster)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Controlled Waste Truck Driver to manage bulk controlled liquid waste transport and skip bin delivery, collection, and handling to and from mine sites and waste management facilities. This position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO roster from Perth, with company paid flights and fully provided accommodation in a furnished 3 bedroom house (utilities included) while on shift.

Key responsibilities

• Transporting bulk controlled liquid waste safely and efficiently

• Managing skip bin services, including delivery, placement, load assessment, collection, and transporting filled bins to approved waste facilities

• Completing daily waste collection, transport, and disposal tasks

• Maintaining accurate working records and completing required documentation

• Performing daily pre start checks

• Carrying out truck maintenance and ensuring vehicle cleanliness

• Adhering to strict safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

• Supporting general site services where required

• Safely operate controlled liquid waste vacuum tanker

• Safely operate the skip bin truck, including delivering, collecting, and handling skip bins in compliance with safety and environmental standards

About you

• HC Driver's Licence (minimum)

• Controlled Waste Licence (essential)

• Previous controlled waste experience (mandatory)

• Strong truck maintenance knowledge and confidence in working around heavy vehicles

• Experience in waste management or heavy vehicle operations

• Strong commitment to safety

• High attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Ability to commit to two weeks on, two weeks off schedule

• Team focused, reliable, and self motivated

• Comfortable working in remote environments
