About the role
You make complex things happen.
This is where that skill matters most.
About the opportunity
This is a project leadership role at the operational heart of one of the most active Events departments in the fundraising sector. As Senior Account Manager - Events, you'll be the Project Lead across a portfolio of major charity clients, responsible for making sure great strategies get executed brilliantly.
You'll work across a talented team of creative, digital, data, and production specialists, coordinating everything from timelines and budgets to stakeholder communication and supplier management. You'll report to one of our Account Strategy Directors and work alongside a team that partners with more than 40 clients across Australia and New Zealand.
Strategy is set. Your job is to bring it to life - on time, on budget, and to a standard our clients keep coming back for.
You can be based in Australia or New Zealand, working fully remote or hybrid. We have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide.
What you'll get to do
Lead end-to-end project delivery across Events client accounts, from initiation through to completion
Act as the central coordination point between internal creative, data, digital, and production teams, external suppliers, and clients
Own project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables - keeping everything moving and stakeholders informed
Lead client work-in-progress meetings, with proactive communication and clear reporting throughout
Manage project workflows via Kantata and other tools to keep accounts running smoothly
Support the Account Strategy Directors in identifying opportunities for client growth and process improvement
What you bring
Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fundraising, marketing, or agency environment
Strong project management skills - you're across the details, you hit deadlines, and you know how to manage competing priorities
Experience coordinating across creative, digital, and production teams to deliver campaigns end to end
The communication skills to hold client relationships confidently and keep internal teams aligned
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment where adaptability matters
A genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector and what great fundraising looks like
Highly desirable
Experience in events and/or peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
Familiarity with project management tools such as Kantata or Trello
Experience in planning and executing digital marketing as part of a campaign
