Experienced Sample Stand Operator

Join a global market leading supply chain business with a proud history of over 70 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Sample Stand Operator based between our Toowoomba site.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Truck Spearing & Collection: Extracting physical samples from incoming trucks using vacuum spears.

• Quality Testing & Grading: Testing agricultural commodities for moisture levels, protein content, weed seeds, visual defects, and live pests.

• Compliance Data Entry: Recording sample results software systems for corporate compliance and inventory tracking.

• Hygiene & Safety Maintenance: Keeping the testing hut, tools, and the surrounding sample stand area clear of dust, spills, and debris to avoid sample cross-contamination

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Familiarity with sampling analysis procedures

• Experience with grain sampling and associated technology

• Experience in the MS Office suite

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills

• Experience in the grain industry is highly advantageous
