Medical Receptionist

We’re looking for a switched-on, personable and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team at West Coast Plastic Surgery.

We want someone who doesn’t just sit behind a reception desk waiting for the phone to ring.

You’ll be someone who takes initiative, thinks for themselves and enjoys having ownership of their role.

You’ll ideally be:

* Warm, friendly and naturally great with people

* Confident and professional

* Organised with a strong eye for detail

* Proactive and comfortable working independently

* Someone who takes pride in what they do

* Passionate about patient care and creating a great experience

* Eager to learn, develop and grow with the practice

* A great communicator who can confidently deal with patients, doctors and our wider team

* Reliable, responsible and willing to pitch in when needed

* Interested in the world of plastic surgery, aesthetics and wellness

* An Australian citizen/permanent resident

Medical reception experience is preferred, and experience within plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology or a specialist practice would be a bonus.

The role

You’ll be involved in everything from welcoming patients and managing appointments to phone enquiries, patient follow-up, referrals, surgical bookings and supporting the team behind the scenes.

We’re looking for someone who wants to learn the business, understand what we do and become an important part of the team: not someone who simply wants to tick off a list of reception duties.
