Legal Administrator / Legal Assistant – Class Actions & Commercial

We are seeking a Legal Administrator / Legal Assistant to join our growing Class Actions & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal support professional or a recent graduate who has completed their legal studies and is looking to pursue a long-term career in legal support.

You’ll work alongside two experienced Legal Administrators, supporting a high-performing team of lawyers on a broad range of complex and meaningful matters. About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the team’s day-to-day operations, including:

• Providing administrative support to lawyers across the Class Actions & Commercial practice.
• Preparing, filing and managing court documents across various Australian jurisdictions.
• Compiling briefs, correspondence and legal documents.
• Managing diaries, emails, appointments and meeting coordination.
• Maintaining files and the practice management system.
• Monitoring critical dates and ensuring key deadlines are met.
• Liaising with clients and assisting with telephone enquiries.
• Maintaining data records and generating reports.
• Opening and closing files and assisting with general practice administration.

About You

We’re open to candidates with varying levels of experience. You may be an experienced Legal Assistant or Administrator, or a recent legal graduate keen to build a career in legal support.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous legal support experience, preferably within litigation.
• Experience preparing and filing court documents (highly regarded).
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Outstanding client service skills and professionalism.
• The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and other legal technology systems.
• A genuine interest in Class Actions and Commercial Litigation.
