QFE Events is looking for experienced Festival Bar Managers to join our WA team for a busy upcoming festival season.

We have multiple festivals and major events scheduled across Perth, including all events at Kings Park, Fremantle Prison, Red Hot Summer Tour at Sandalford Winery and multiple greenfield festival sites.

This is seasonal casual work across multiple events, making it ideal for experienced hospitality managers who enjoy major events, high-volume bars and leading great teams.

The Role

As a Festival Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing one of our high-volume event bars from setup through to close.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and supervising large casual bar teams

• Managing bar setup, opening, service and pack-down

• Coordinating staff deployment and breaks

• Delivering fast and efficient service during high-volume periods

• Managing stock, replenishment and wastage

• Ensuring compliance with WA liquor licensing requirements and RSA

• Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and safety standards

• Working closely with QFE Event Management and other Bar Managers

• Troubleshooting operational issues and keeping your bar running efficiently

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold:

• A current Western Australian Approved Manager licence

• A current WA RSA qualification

• Previous bar management or senior hospitality experience

Applicants who do not currently hold a WA Approved Manager licence will not be considered for a Bar Manager position.

About You

We’re looking for confident, hands-on managers who enjoy the pace and atmosphere of major events.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing high-volume bars, festivals, events or busy hospitality venues

• Strong leadership and people-management skills

• Confidence managing large casual teams

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Strong stock control and operational skills

• A practical, hands-on management style

• Availability across weekends throughout the Perth festival season

• The ability to remain calm and make good decisions in busy environments

Previous festival or major event bar management experience will be highly regarded.
