As a Medical Officer on the health services team at Acacia Correctional Centre, you’ll make a positive impact by promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates, ensure the safety and security of inmates and the community and provide a respectful environment to inmates. Full time, part time or casual will be considered with role based in Wooroloo, WA.

You could be a great fit if you have:Unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRAPossess a degree in Medicine from a recognised tertiary institutionBe recognised as a Fellow or working towards the same with RACGPCurrent Life Support certification/ALSExperience in Primary Care, Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol and Emergency careAbility to provide appropriate diagnosis and treatmentAbility to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teamAbility to effectively communicate in both oral and written formsCultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse populations
