We are currently seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team.

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring availability and selling the right rooms to guests at the correct price.

• Answering all incoming calls, managing enquiries, bookings, amendments, cancellations and no-shows via all communication channels.

• Quoting accurate rates to all market segments and knowing what to quote and when.

• Entering reservations and ensuring all details are added to the booking.

• Awareness of billing & accounts receivable responsibilities.

• Conducting checks on upcoming arrivals, follow up on any pending items.

• Managing Group Reservations .

• Knowledge of hotel layout, views, bedding and room facilities.

To be considered for this role you need to:

• Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate to Advance Level

• Professional telephone Etiquette 

• Clear and strong interpersonal

• Solid communication skills and writing techniques (including the ability to formulate professional emails)

• Eye for detail and highly accurate data entry skills

• Ability to work unsupervised or part of a team

• Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel establishment would be an advantage

• Experience with PMS or similar would be an advantage

• Australian National Police Clearance, no more than 3 months old
