What You'll Be Doing
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, individualised nursing care to patients while supporting positive clinical outcomes and enhancing the patient experience. You will utilise your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within a busy and dynamic healthcare environment.
Deliver safe, efficient and person-centred care that meets the needs of patients and their families or carersAssess patient needs, respond to changing clinical situations and escalate care when requiredCoordinate referrals and discharge planning to support continuity of careMentor, supervise and support nursing staff and students on clinical placementCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team to advocate for patients and ensure optimal health outcomes

Essential Criteria
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practiceDemonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient careDemonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing careDemonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
