Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson – Bathroom Repairs

Sydney | Full-Time | $80,000–$95,000 + Super + Company Vehicle

We are an established Sydney waterproofing, tiling and bathroom repair company looking for a practical, reliable Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our team.

This isn't a traditional construction carpentry role.

Our work is predominantly in existing residential bathrooms and showers, carrying out smaller repair and rectification jobs across Sydney.

We're looking for a good all-round tradesperson who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is comfortable figuring things out and solving problems on site.

The role will include a mix of:

• Repairing and replacing damaged bathroom and shower subfloors

• Timber and framing repairs

• Installing and replacing fibre cement sheeting and other substrates

• Small carpentry and general building repairs

• Carpentry and substrate preparation for waterproofing and tiling

• Removing and reinstalling shower screens

• Carrying out bathroom and shower repair work alongside our technicians

• Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions on site

• General remedial and repair work

As a waterproofing and tiling business, there will also be opportunities to assist with other areas of our work.

Depending on your experience and interests, we can teach you additional skills including:

• Regrouting showers and bathrooms

• Silicone replacement

• Basic tiling repairs

• Waterproofing preparation

• Other specialist bathroom repair techniques

You don't need to know how to do everything from day one.

A carpentry trade qualification would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.

Practical experience, workmanship and attitude are more important to us.

You may currently be working as a carpenter, bathroom renovator, maintenance tradesperson or general all-rounder.

Ideally, you'll:

• Have solid carpentry, building or maintenance experience

• Be confident using tools and working independently

• Enjoy smaller repair jobs and problem-solving

• Take pride in producing neat, quality work

• Be reliable and organised

• Communicate well with customers and other trades

• Be comfortable working in customers' homes

• Have a current driver's licence

Experience with bathroom renovations, shower screens, tiling, waterproofing, remedial building or property maintenance would be a big advantage, but isn't essential.

• $80,000–$95,000 + super, depending on experience

• Company vehicle

• Full-time, Monday–Friday work

• Consistent work across Sydney
