Bathroom Renovation Tradesperson / Renovation Assistant

Construction experience required | Build a career specialising in bathroom renovations

Want to work on the part of construction where you actually get to see a great finished result?

AC Plumbing Qld is looking for a practical, motivated person to join our bathroom renovation team.

This isn't a role for an experienced builder or lead carpenter, and you don't need to already be a bathroom renovation expert.

We're looking for someone who already has good hands-on construction skills, knows their way around tools and a job site, and is keen to develop their skills in high-quality bathroom renovations.

You might currently be:

• A 2nd, 3rd or 4th-year carpentry apprentice

• Working in residential construction or renovations

• A trade assistant with solid building experience

• Working in kitchens, bathrooms, shopfitting or property maintenance

• A Tiler, Waterproofer, or other tradie who wants to add to their skillset

• Someone with good construction skills who's looking for a more specialised career path

What matters most is that you're capable, reliable, take pride in your work and genuinely want to become great at bathroom renovations.

Working alongside our experienced renovation team, you'll be involved in bathroom projects from demolition through to the finished product.

You'll develop hands-on experience across areas such as:

• Demolition and strip-outs

• Framing and carpentry

• Sheeting and preparation

• Fixtures and fittings

• Doors, trims and finishing work

• Assisting with waterproofing and tiling work

• Coordinating with plumbers and other trades

• Defect checking and final finishing

• Keeping renovation sites clean, organised and professional

You'll get to understand how the entire bathroom comes together, rather than spending every day doing one repetitive task on a large construction site.

You'll probably suit this role if you:

• Already have hands-on construction experience

• Are confident using common power and hand tools

• Enjoy detailed work and getting things right

• Can solve practical problems

• Take pride in the finished product

• Are reliable and turn up ready to work

• Keep a clean and organised work area

• Enjoy working as part of a small team

• Want to keep learning and improving your skills

You don't need to know everything.

We're more interested in finding someone with a good foundation, the right attitude and a genuine interest in becoming excellent at bathroom renovations.
