The Opportunity

As an Export Documentation Officer, you will play a key role in preparing and managing export shipping documentation, ensuring customer requirements are met and supporting the smooth movement of cargo around the world.

You'll work closely with customers, overseas offices and internal teams to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within required timeframes.

This 12-month maximum-term contract is a fantastic opportunity to join a global industry leader and gain valuable experience in the dynamic world of logistics and international shipping!

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process export documentation accurately and efficiently.

• Review documentation to ensure customer, customs, and destination requirements are met.

• Coordinate the timely release of shipping documents and Bills of Lading.

• Monitor reports and resolve discrepancies to maintain documentation accuracy.

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide exceptional service.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and overseas stakeholders.

• Ensure deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced operational environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, export documentation or a related industry preferred but not essential.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

• A proactive and customer-focused mindset.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
