About the role
Join Meli and play a vital role in supporting safer outcomes for individuals, families and communities across the Barwon region.
As part of The Orange Door's multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-informed responses to adults using family violence while contributing to the safety and wellbeing of women, children and families. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with specialist practitioners and partner agencies to create meaningful change through early intervention, risk assessment and coordinated support.
As an Adults Using Family Violence Practitioner, you will:
Deliver screening, assessment, crisis response, service planning, targeted interventions and coordinated referrals in line with The Orange Door Integrated Practice Framework.
Assess, prioritise and respond to family violence risk, applying professional judgement and evidence-based frameworks including MARAM and the Best Interests Case Practice Model.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to increase the accountability of adults using family violence while supporting the safety and wellbeing of affected family members.
Manage a caseload and provide targeted support, case consultations, advocacy and referral pathways for individuals and families with complex needs.
