Grounds Lead/Grounds Officer

Carmichael College is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian College established in 2015 in Morayfield.  At Carmichael, we believe that all students and their families belong here with our team of highly committed staff, whose aim is to support and encourage students and families through pastoral care, prayer and authentic relationships.

Carmichael College is looking for an experienced Grounds Lead/Grounds Officer to join our Facilities team. The Grounds Lead/Grounds Officer is responsible for maintaining the grounds across the College, including regular upkeep and planning future horticultural projects.

About You:

• Previous experience working in grounds in a school environment

• A passion for providing quality work

• Be a dedicated team player who works collaboratively with all team members

• A high attention to detail

• Demonstrate integrity, passion and pride in your work

• Enjoy working in the outdoors

• Ability to build strong collaborative relationships at all levels

• A safety-focused approach and the ability to follow instructions and procedures

• Hold a Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain

• Be actively involved in prayer for the school and participate in staff devotions
