The Role

As an AI Systems Developer you build the infrastructure behind everything we deliver: the agent roster, the skill library, the connectors into client software, and the internal platform Selr AI runs on.

Every engagement is different. A gym franchise needs five systems wired up that have no public integration. A property group needs its reporting consolidated. You scope it, build it, test it, and hand it over.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building Claude Code skills, agents and MCP connectors against real client software, packaged so a non-technical team can actually run them.
• Writing production TypeScript/Node and Python: API integrations, custom MCP servers, data pipelines, internal tooling.
• Shipping and maintaining our own platform work on Next.js, Vercel, Supabase, and agents running on AWS.
• Automating internal operations in n8n and GoHighLevel where a workflow beats writing code.
• Pre-building a client's stack before an on-site install day, so the day itself is install and go rather than start from scratch.
• Working alongside Luke and Harvey on builds, and occasionally with clients over email during prep.
• Staying current. Tooling in this space changes monthly and we move with it.

Who We're Looking For

You're technically strong, quick to learn, and comfortable with a spec that starts as a conversation instead of a ticket.

• Fundamentals: solid JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. SQL is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of APIs, auth flows and webhooks. If you've built against a messy third-party API and survived, tell us about it.
• Problem-solver: creative and analytical, happy to be the first person to make something work.
• Learning agility: eager to go deep on Claude Code, the Anthropic SDK and MCP. Prior experience there is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Collaborative: high-performance team, low ego, quick to ask and quick to help.
