We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Trainer and Assessor to lead our Melbourne operations. More than a training role, it's an opportunity to lead and manage our Melbourne (Thomastown) Training Centre, mentor trainers, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the continued growth of one of Australia's most respected electrical training organisations.

The Role

As the Electrical Training Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne Training Centre.
• Deliver high-quality accredited training and assessment across your areas of expertise.
• Mentor and support trainers to ensure excellence in delivery and compliance.
• Oversee scheduling, facilities, equipment and training resources.
• Ensure compliance with ASQA, the Standards for RTOs and all regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of training materials and assessment tools.
• Maintain strong relationships with industry clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in business development and identify opportunities to expand training services.
• Work closely with the National Training and Compliance teams to maintain Volt Edge's industry-leading standards.

Preferred Technical Expertise

The successful applicant will possess significant experience in several of the following:

• Hazardous Areas (EEHA) mandatory
• High Voltage (HV)
• Refrigeration
• Instrumentation
• Solar & Battery Systems
• QTP/QBP

About You

You are a respected industry professional with extensive technical knowledge and a passion for developing the next generation of electricians.

You'll bring:

• TAE40116, TAE40122 or equivalent Training and Assessment qualification.
• Extensive industry experience delivering Hazardous Areas training.
• Likely have Instrumentation or HV or Refrigeration.
• Refrigeration experience highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Experience managing training operations or supervising technical teams.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• High-level computer literacy and experience using Learning Management Systems.
• A commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• Current vocational competencies relevant to the training delivered.

What's on Offer

• $200,000 package (dependent on experience).
• ESOP = Immediately 0.5% of company ESOP shares (at Sign in)allocation for the right candidate, expected 0.2% per year, total of 2.5% of Company shares after 10 years valued at $4.400,000 our, targetted growth is 20% and we have bettered that 3 years in a row. A rare opportunity underwritten by our Founder/MD.

Pay: $190,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
