Plant Operator

We have an opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join our packaged products warehouse at West Footscray. This is our busiest packaged products site, with constant movement of trucks, people and equipment. You will work as part of a small team to perform a variety of distribution tasks in a safety first environment. 

Your Opportunity

As a Plant Operator in our West Footscray facility you perform a wide and interesting range of duties mainly comprising of:

• Operating cement bagging machinery
• Truck loading and unloading
• Housekeeping
• Forklift responsibilities
• Perform minor maintenance 
• Perform product testing
• Pallet sorting

Roster:

This is a Monday to Friday day shift roster working 5:00am - 1:30pm.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years’ experience as a forklift driver (current forklift license essential)
• Experience in a similar plant operations role
• Basic computer knowledge 
• Sound mechanical aptitude 
• Experience with SAP applications a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 20Kg
