Social Media & Content Creator

We’re looking for a creative and energetic Social Media & Content Creator to join our team, based at Coventry Village in Morley.

This is a hands-on and varied role working across a number of hospitality venues and commercial centres, helping bring our brands, businesses, events and locations to life across social media and digital platforms.

You’ll create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social channels, with a strong focus on short-form video, fresh ideas and content that connects with customers.

About the Role

This is a creative and varied part-time position with flexible hours.

You’ll primarily be based at Coventry Village, Morley, with flexibility to attend our other venues, centres, promotions and events for content creation.

The role will involve getting out and about, working with businesses and venue teams, capturing content as it happens and helping showcase what is happening across our different locations.

Some weekend and after-hours availability will be required for events, promotions and content opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging social media content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms

Develop short-form video content, including TikToks and Instagram Reels

Capture photo and video content across our hospitality venues, commercial centres and events

Help identify trends, content ideas and opportunities relevant to our different locations and audiences

Be comfortable appearing on camera in some of the content you help create

Plan and maintain a regular social media content schedule

Manage social media scheduling and posting

Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns

Support promotions, launches and special events

Work with venue managers, tenants and businesses to create fresh and engaging content

Help maintain brand consistency across platforms and locations

Monitor engagement and content performance to understand what is working

We’re looking for someone who:

Has a genuine interest in social media, content creation, hospitality and events

Understands how to create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Has a good feel for current social media trends and short-form video

Is confident capturing and editing photo and video content

Is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera

Has strong written and visual communication skills

Is creative, organised and proactive

Can spot a good content opportunity and take initiative

Is comfortable working with different businesses, staff, customers and personalities

Can work independently as well as part of a team

Has flexibility to attend venues, centres and events, including some weekends and after-hours

Previous social media, marketing or content creation experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right person
