We specialize in fabricating and installing premium commercial and high-end residential aluminium systems. We service the immediate Toowoomba region and surrounding areas, providing our team with diverse, engaging work.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Glass & Aluminium Installer to join our site operations team. In this role, you will be the face of Scope Doors & Windows on-site, responsible for the high-quality installation of our custom window and door systems.

This position is well-suited to an experienced glazier, but would also be an excellent fit for an experienced carpenter looking to apply their high-level framing, levelling, and finishing skills to premium aluminium systems.

You will be working on a variety of local sites, ranging from luxury architectural homes to large-scale commercial developments across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial and high-end residential aluminium windows, doors, and framing systems.

• Perform on-site glazing and ensure all installations comply with AS1288 standards.

• Read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and site specifications.

• Measure, level, and securely fix sub-framing, frames, and hardware.

• Apply high-quality caulking, weatherproofing, and finishing touches.

• Liaise professionally with site supervisors, builders, and clients.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on all sites.

• Collaborate closely with our Operations Manager and the production team to ensure a seamless handover from manufacturing to installation.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in glass and aluminium installation, OR trade-qualified as a carpenter with strong finishing skills and a willingness to learn aluminium systems.

• A valid Driver’s Licence is essential (Manual preferred).

• A strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards (AS1288) or general construction code compliance.

• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans.

• Construction White Card.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing premium finishes.

• Reliable, physically fit for manual handling tasks, and capable of working efficiently both independently and within a team.
