Shorebird Week - Birdwatching and Working Bee (Hobart)

- **When**: Thursday, 10 September, 10am-12.30pm
- **Where**: Gould's Lagoon, Hestercombe Rd, Granton
- **Activities**: Birdwatching Session, and looking after our plantings (weeding, tree guard removal)
- **Please wear/bring**: Clothes that aren't precious and can get dirty. A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, a hat and fully enclosed shoes for this activity. Please also bring your own drinking water.

**Event Description**: Dive into the world of birds at our Shorebird Week event at Gould's Lagoon in Granton.

We'll start the day with an amazing bird watching session with former BirdLife convenor, Eric Woehler. Eric will take us on a journey and show us the life of birds, while we observe them through binoculars and scopes, and enjoy the proximity to the timtumili minanya (Derwent River).

Afterwards, join us as we are looking after our plantings, making sure they're thriving and provide the habitat and biodiversity birds need in this area!

Please note we require all participants to wear long-sleeve pants, a long-sleeve shirt, fully enclosed shoes and a hat. Please bring binoculars if you have them.

Please note the closest toilets will be at Roseneath Park (5min drive away).
